Titled A New Earth, as this book is the continuation of the Power of Now, so it's still mainly revolves around human indivual.

One of the many things that make me blown away is how this book speak of how we, as a being, should live as a being. And enjoy it. We are all get to tense about this life, and forget about enjoying as a being. Still don't get it? Don't worry, first time I read the book, it left me thinking for a long time, "What the hell?". But the second time I finished the book, something just popped up and I said, "I see."

Another great thing, the book also do a comprehensive analysis of the human ego, how this time, almost all of us is in the grip of our ego, without we knowing it. Remember how fun is the feeling when you know you are better than everyone? That is ego. Or, when you are scolding someone younger than you just because you already live longer, you are bigger, or you have more experience? That is also ego. Everytime you use your mind, that is the ego. The book teaches us how to be the consciousness apart from the ego. How to keep from not to feed on the ego. And by that way, you can start enjoy living as a being.

Two words that is repeatedly told in the book, and also the one that keep sticks inside my head (oh yes, my head is a thought, and thus making it my ego.) is present moment. Eckhart Tolle told us to always live on the present moment. No need to worry about what the future holds for us, or for the worse, worrying about something in the past. By doing all the worrying, you will not be able to enjoy life itself. And you cannot live the life to the fullest extent.

I highly recommend the book to those who wants to be awakened. And this books apply to every religions, the teaching is universal and not accusing one religion wrong and the other is the rightful way. This book talks about spirituality, not religions. Read the book, and you'll understand what do I mean.

Well it's been a while (well 1 year is not a while.) since my last book review. Currently, I'm doing another project, which is movie review in http://republicofmovie.blogspot.com, so my book review is on hold. But, thanks to your supports, finally I got back to this. Hope you enjoyed it!

How to Win Friends & Influence People

This time I'm going to review one of the greatest best-seller in the world, this book also called one of the parents of motivational books together with The Power Of Positive Thinking and Think And Grow Rich. This book was published in 1936 and keep re-published until now. The book was authored by Dale Carnegie, the master of public speaking and communication, and it's based on his lecture. This is a really useful book whoever you are because when it came into speaking, everybody need that isn't it? The book tell you the really basic but sometimes forgotten communication skill like giving a honest and sincere appreciation, smile, be a good listener, and many more. Dale Carnegie also include and will tell you how powerful it will be if you use it for any of your communication, from business even daily conversation. Carnegie put many of examples of how it's work base on people experience, from Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, doctor, lawyer, salesman, and even his personal experience when he encountered a problem with the law. This book was a real well-done work. You also won't have to worry about understanding it, because this book was written in a very easy-understanding and easy to digest way. So, anytime you see this book on the bookshelf, grab it as fast as you can, and then watch the magic of it after you use it for life.

The Last Lecture

It's been a while since my last review, and this time I'm gonna review a really really good book that I'm pretty sure you'll gonna cry a lot and proud to have known the greatest lecture you'll ever known. This book was based on the lecture that was given by Randy Pausch, professor at Carnegie-Mellon University, that have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and only have a little more time left. This book will focused about how he can achieved all of his childhood that you can achieve it too. It's also gave many information about how to socialize. And the greatest motivation that I ever learned is that don't ever waste your time on whining about your condition, because this life is really short and you must be able to manage and achieve all of your goals and dreams in that short time. Like Randy Pausch, even if he was already diagnose that he only got a few months left to live, he still think to give peoples his knowledge and also leave a legacy for his family. Well, I was really motivated by his words about keep moving on. But, finally, Randy Pausch succumbed to his battle with cancer. And I really hope that everyone of us should be inspired by his words and motivated to keep moving on.

Rich Kid Smart Kid

Right now, I'm going to review another book from Robert T. Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Rich Kid Smart Kid. This book is really good and useful for the parents to give their child a financial head start. This book will tell you not only how to give your child financial education, it also tell you that in this world there are many kind of genius. But the school system only accept and approve one kind of genius. That's why you should start involve in educating your child not only just give them to the school system. Because many child have a different kind of genius that are different than the one that school accept. That's why the teacher will said, "Your son have a great potential, but unfortunately he didn't maximize it," or will say to your child, "You're a troublemaker, you're not gonna success." If you heard something like that, you shouldn't angry and mad to your child but, you should give them encouragement by explaining that everybody was born genius. Also, this book will tell you that the real study is start when your son is graduated from school. That the real life report is Financial Report, the thing that your banker would ask if you're borrowing money. And this book tell you too how to teach your child, even your child is very young, about the quadrant and the importance of making your money work for you. And I'm sure after you're applying this book to educate your child, you'll be happy to see them growing up and have a great future in their life.

<category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Robert T. Because, the book that was written by Robert T. Kiyosaki became the number one New York Times international-bestseller for over than one year! And yes, this book really deserve it because you'll learn the importance of Financial Freedom, a condition that your passive income is higher than your expense and don't need your body to work to get money. And if you've achieve Financial Freedom you don't have to worry anymore about the global financial crisis that we face today. And one thing that this book mention that you must change your mindset from the mindset of industrial age to the information age. But, you must learn it by yourself, because school still teach their students to always get a great, perfect score and get a secured job. But that is the mindset of the industrial age. This world has change. Like you see right now, even if you've got a secured good job, many people lost their job. And Robert T. Kiyosaki said that you must start think about investing and building passive income rather than buying a bigger house with small down payment so you will get reduced tax. The last thing that I must tell you, this book always tell the importance of making the money to work for you, not you work for the money. On the sequel, Robert T. Kiyosaki talk mainly about the four quadrant: Employee, Self-Employee (Small Business), Business, and Investor. In this book he'll tell you what is the advantage and disadvantage of each quadrant. And one thing that mentioned in the book frequently are the importance of moving from the left quadrant (E and S) to the right quadrant (B and I). Also, he'll tell you what you can get from becoming right quadrant like, no more disappearing money you get because of taxes that you'll get if you're an employee. But, Robert T. Kiyosaki also said that for an employee who want to migrate to the right quadrant they should keep their job because working in B or I quadrant will be hard to start with. And also in this book he give you clear example of diagram of income and outcome that was really easy to learn. And last thing that he always mentioned that if you want to reach financial freedom, you're gonna need to do it, because you'll get nothing if you just wait for miracle to happen. Like one of famous quote that said, "If you want a miracle, be that miracle." And also I recommend you to read the Rich Dad, Poor Dad first, because that's the basic all of Robert T. Kiyosaki's books.

Larry King, How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: The Secrets of Good Communication

Hello, now I'm gonna to review a really good book if you want to know how to be good orator, or to easily make friends.
